Agency recognized as an Elite Agency of the Year; Curtis Sparrer named a People of the Year honoree
SAN FRANCISCO – Oct. 7, 2026 – Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing agency that puts technology and pharma companies on the map, today announced that it won Agency of the Year: Medium (25 to 100 employees) at the 2026 PRNEWS Platinum Awards.
The agency won two more Platinum Awards in campaign categories: Brand Reputation Campaign for “Seeing RealSense: How Bospar Revived a Company AI Had Declared Dead,” and Event PR/Marketing Campaign for “The Robots Are Coming,” created with client IntBot.
PRNEWS separately named Bospar an Elite Agency of the Year and recognized Bospar Principal Curtis Sparrer as a 2026 People of the Year honoree. The Platinum winners were announced last night at the 2026 PRNEWS Platinum Awards Gala at The Lighthouse in New York City.
Bospar wins Agency of the Year in the medium category
Bospar entered the medium category with an 89-person team that includes veteran journalists and works fully remote across 19 states. The agency, 100% LGBTQIA+-owned and operated, specializes in AI, technology and healthcare. In the 12 months ended Oct. 1, it signed 97 new clients, about half of them AI companies, and one in five came from outside the U.S.
“Winning Agency of the Year feels like the whole crew getting called up on stage, and this crew earned every second of it,” said Sparrer. “Three weeks ago, we celebrated our 300th industry award. Last week, we opened Audit*E to small and medium-sized businesses. We’re not slowing down. Next stop: 400.”
RealSense campaign wins Brand Reputation Platinum Award
Bospar’s award-winning RealSense campaign began with a problem that could have hurt the company before its launch from Intel as an independent business. AI platforms were telling people RealSense was defunct.
“This one means a lot to us because the work helped grow the company,” said Sparrer. “AI systems are shaping how people discover businesses, and they had RealSense wrong. We had to correct the record. Business Insider then reported on it as a GEO success story, and later, Cognex agreed to buy RealSense for half a billion dollars, 10x the $50 million it raised when it spun out of Intel.”
The campaign generated more than 500 media placements and 2.2 billion impressions, while RealSense’s website saw a fourfold increase in traffic during the first week following the campaign.
IntBot campaign wins Event PR/Marketing Platinum Award
“The Robots Are Coming” put IntBot’s humanoid robots in front of the public. At San José Mineta International Airport, one worked as a multilingual concierge. At CES, another ran a booth on its own. Neither followed a script, which let IntBot show how its “embodied AI” handles real conversations with real people.
Bospar has won more than 300 industry awards since its founding. Recent honors include:
- Fortune: America’s Most Innovative Companies list for three consecutive years, the only PR agency included
- PRSA: Best Small Agency in America at the 2026 Silver Anvil Awards
- PRovoke: 100 Best Agencies in the U.S.
- PRovoke: Agency of the Year
- MM+M: 2026 Agency 100
