PR and media veteran recognized for driving business, coverage and results
SAN FRANCISCO — May 24, 2023 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts tech companies on the map, today announced that Stacey Grimsrud, a vice president at Bospar, has been named a winner in Ragan & PR Daily’s Communicators of the Year Awards.
Grimsrud was recognized for her work consistently generating new and sustainable business for Bospar. Within the last year, Grimsrud secured 17 new account wins. From 2021 through the second half of 2022, she headed up a portfolio representing more than $3 million in business.
“People are our most valuable asset, and we have always valued Stacey’s drive and poise in strengthening teams and winning and serving clients,” said Curtis Sparrer, co-founder and principal at Bospar. “Stacey continues to demonstrate her skill at creating and executing media relations campaigns, drawing on more than a decade of experience as an assistant news director and her years with Bospar, and we are excited to spread the good news of her win.”
Grimsrud’s leadership on a campaign for Bio Bidet helped Bospar win an array of awards. She also spearheaded an effort during the pandemic for Healthline that resulted in a Town Hall with Dr. Anthony Fauci, which yielded more than 250,000 page views and 200 pieces of coverage.
“Stacey is a force,” added Sparrer. “Clients trust her with their voice and their futures.”
The Ragan and PR Daily’s Communicators of the Year Awards recognize the industry’s best individual communications practitioners and teams from the past year. “These winners went above and beyond to achieve success for their organizations and clients,” Ragan and PR Daily noted. “Among many talented entrants, these winners stood out above the rest.”
