SAN FRANCISCO — Sept. 2, 2026 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts pharma and tech companies on the map, has hired veteran technology, cybersecurity and healthcare sector journalist and content creator Doug Olenick as Tech and Healthcare Content Director.
Olenick brings decades of journalism and content marketing experience to his role at Bospar, where he will use his deep understanding of how the media absorbs content to help clients earn the highest possible level of media exposure.
Most recently, Olenick served as content marketing manager for LevelBlue, a $1 billion cybersecurity provider, where he was the company’s primary content advocate. He wrote blogs, thought leadership articles, case studies and moderated dozens of webinars, translating how the company’s products and solutions protected its clients in such mission-critical sectors as healthcare from the dangers posed by threat actors.
“Doug spent decades in the media trenches covering and breaking down complex technologies for technical and mainstream audiences,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal of Bospar. “That’s a critical skill that we are already putting to work for our clients. Doug’s arrival adds even more horsepower to our talented team, which has the proven ability to deliver work that generates business results.”
Olenick began his career writing for daily newspapers, then serving as editor for multiple B2B and trade news sites, including Reed Business, ISMG and SC Media. He has also contributed to TheStreet.com, MainStreet.com, Forbes and many other publications.
Over the course of his career, Olenick has covered product launches from Apple, Dell, HP and Sony. He has interviewed technology luminaries such as Jeff Bezos, Steve Wozniak and numerous CEOs of deep tech and cybersecurity enterprises.
Olenick used his journalism skill set and interest in new technologies like AI to boost the content operations at LevelBlue and, before that, Trustwave, to new levels, generating tens of thousands of page views monthly and contributing to increased lead generation.
“Any information, when placed in the right hands, can be brought to life in a manner that grabs reporter and reader interest,” Olenick said. “I am thrilled to join the Bospar team and craft compelling stories for our clients.”
