SAN FRANCISCO — April 21, 2022 — Bospar, the “Politely Pushy®” PR firm that puts tech companies on the map, received three awards at the April 20 2022 Social Impact Awards ceremony in Arlington, Virginia. Created by PRNews, the Social Impact Awards honor communicators who use their platforms to better their community and the global community at large.
Bospar won for its “Bospar Messes with Texas” program in three different award categories, including the LGBTQIA2+ Owned Business Communications & Campaign, Human Rights Communications & Campaign, and the Social Good/Responsibility Communications & Campaign.
“We have received several accolades in 2022 already, yet this stands out as the one every individual in our company feels humbled and proud to achieve,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal and co-founder of Bospar. “Since inception, we continue to be a values-driven business, and that is why we couldn’t ignore the human rights violation in Texas. We were the first to take a stand against the state’s anti-abortion legislation in 2021 by offering every Bospar employee located there a $10,000 relocation package. Since then, several big brands have followed our lead with similar programs.”
“Bospar Messes with Texas” is a recent effort from the Bospar Stands Up family of initiatives, programs that involve the fight for human rights locally and globally.
This latest recognition follows the Financial Times naming Bospar one of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the Americas in 2022. O’Dwyer’s also recently named Bospar a Top 50 PR Firm in 2022.
