SAN FRANCISCO — April 29, 2024 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts health and tech companies on the map, has earned two PRNEWS Digital Awards in the Branding and Launch campaign categories for its exceptional work for Infobip, “OMG: Infobip Celebrates 30 Years of Texting!”
When Infobip, an SMS startup, brought Bospar on board, the Croatian company had zero visibility in the U.S. market. It was dead last in share of voice against its six competitors. Infobip’s goal of growing brand awareness in the Americas included building a robust social media presence in the North America region.
Bospar created a LinkedIn livestream to bring the company’s 30th SMS anniversary celebration to a U.S. user-dominated platform — the target market for Infobip’s expansion. Adding a LinkedIn livestream allowed Infobip to connect with its more than 290,000 global followers on the platform and reach millions of U.S. and Canadian LinkedIn users.
Since implementing the strategy, Infobip’s North American audience has surged by 51%, audience impressions have soared by a staggering 1254.23% and engagements have shot up by 1130.22%. Infobip attributed a 20% increase in sales in Q4 2022 and Q1 2023 directly to Bospar’s clever PR campaign to newsjack the 30th anniversary of SMS, celebrate the first text and bolster it with a social media strategy.
“We have a track record of making anniversaries do the heavy lifting for our clients, including Tetris, Dolby and Logitech,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal at Bospar. “Our initiative to harness the power of social media with spectacular media placements speaks volumes about our ability to drive tangible business outcomes. Being ‘politely pushy’ isn’t just a motto; it’s a strategy that gets noticed with results.”
Earlier this year, Bospar’s campaign for Infobip earned a PRWeek Best in Corporate Branding and a PRovoke SABRE Innovation Award.
