Navigating a Covid-19 Pivot

CHALLENGE

Business Warrior had developed a suite of small business analytics tools. They were also announcing a major company name change. They had very little brand recognition and needed a PR team that could help them increase awareness of their company and tools with their target audience.​

SOLUTION

PR paired the launch with third-party data to give the media a reason to cover the company launch. Following the launch, we continued to leverage the executives as thought leaders in the small business space by providing predictions and opinions on breaking news.​

RESULT

Our approach was so successful that Business Warrior was part of a reverse merger which allowed them to become a public company. We also worked with them to strategically transition their PR strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic, which resulted in a key Inc. story by Christina DesMarais that increased their inbound leads by 500% in a single week. Additional media coverage included Small Biz Daily (Rieva Lesonsky), The Information (Zoe Bernard) and Phoenix Biz Journal (Hayley Ringle).
