First children’s book about PR, written by Bospar’s Curtis Sparrer, becomes part of the world’s only museum dedicated to the history and future of public relations.
SAN FRANCISCO — May 9, 2025 — “Game Face: Becoming a PR Detective” — the first-ever children’s book about PR, authored by Bospar Principal Curtis Sparrer — is now a part of the PRMuseum library in New York City. Located at 120 Wall Street, the Museum is the only institution in the world solely dedicated to preserving and exploring the history of public relations.
Just one week after its release, “Game Face” became an Amazon best-seller. Now, it joins a collection of more than 500 books from PR pioneers such as Edward Bernays, Harold Burson and Ivy Lee.
“I’m incredibly honored that ‘Game Face’ has been included in the PRMuseum’s library ” said Sparrer. “This book is my love letter to the industry. I hope everyone — whether you work in PR or are just curious about it — takes the opportunity to take a look at ‘Game Face’ when they visit the Museum.”
The Museum of Public Relations, a 501(c)(3) educational institution, houses the world’s largest collection of materials documenting the history of the public relations field, including more than 5,000 artifacts, oral histories, letters, photographs and films.
“We want young people to consider public relations as a career path, and we hope that this book can help them do so,” said Shelley Spector, co-founder and director of the Museum.
“Game Face: Becoming a PR Detective” is available for purchase on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
