CHALLENGE

Bospar partnered with Karat to support the announcement of a big round of funding—a Series C raise of $110M to grow its technical interviewing-as-a-service platform. But the company didn’t yet have its messaging locked in…and we had less than three weeks to get it done.​

SOLUTION

Bospar generated buzz by coupling news of the company’s new $1.1B valuation and unicorn status with the visibility of Karat’s lead investment partner, Tiger Global, and a roster of marquee client partners like Roblox, American Express, Intuit, Compass and Wayfair. We were able to generate massive press exposure and solidify Karat’s position as the world leader in technical interviewing.​

RESULT

The unicorn funding announcement resulted in 26 pieces of coverage in outlets, such as Axios Pro Rata (Dan Primack), SiliconANGLE (Maria Deutscher), Crunchbase, Built In Seattle (Gordon Gottsegen), TechCrunch (Ingrid Lunden), The Wall Street Journal’s Pro VC Newsletter (Zach Cole), Fortune’s Term Sheet (Lucinda Shen), Flipboard (Taylor Soper) and Yahoo Finance. The coverage to date has resulted in a UVM of 136,664,128. We drove engagement through the roof, generating a 340% increase in tweets, an 81% increase in retweets, a 742% increase in impressions, and a 400% increase in likes on Karat’s social media pages. ​
