SAN FRANCISCO – July 8, 2020 – Mendix, a Siemens business and the global leader in enterprise low-code, has named Bospar, the boutique PR firm that puts tech companies on the map, as its public relations agency of record (AOR) for North America.
The company’s bet on its new PR firm already has paid off. Bospar, in the first week of its engagement with Mendix, secured a Reuters exclusive that prompted syndications in The New York Times, Business Insider, the Financial Post, U.S. News & World Report and a wide array of other top-tier publications – and generated hundreds of other placements for the article.
The low-code leader had been working with a different North American agency until recently but decided to engage with Bospar to better educate the market on its unique value proposition. Mendix continues its relationships with its non-U.S. PR firm partners Harvard Engage! out of Germany and ItsaRep, a communications agency serving the Benelux region.
“Low-code delivers high value for organizations around the world,” said Daniel C. Berkowitz, senior director of global communications at Mendix. “COVID-19 is driving accelerated adoption of enterprise low-code, a market that had already been exploding because of its ability to speed software development by a factor of 10x or more, and because the technology addresses the software development crisis. There is simply far too much software that needs to be built and a tremendous shortage of software development talent around the world to get the work done. The Mendix enterprise low-code platform has been designed from the ground up to empower IT and business folks within any large enterprise organization to work remotely, while also closely collaborating and quickly iterating on important app development projects.”
Berkowitz continued, “The low-code visual development approach enables developers of varied experience levels to easily create apps for web and mobile using drag-and-drop components and model-driven logic. But not everybody has had the opportunity to learn about and experience the incredible value that low-code – and the Mendix solution in particular – delivers. Together with Bospar and our other agency partners, we are working to change that.”
“Bospar is excited to be working with Mendix,” said Curtis Sparrer, a Bospar principal. “We are using our finely honed PR chops and content creation expertise to spread the word about the Mendix low-code platform, a unique and collaborative solution that eliminates the disconnect between business owners and developers, expedites app creation, ensures app success, and provides user control – delivering positive outcomes for businesses and society.”
