SAN FRANCISCO — November 9, 2022 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” tech PR and marketing firm that puts companies on the map, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Tolkachev as a vice president. Bospar is channeling Tolkachev’s expertise in scaling agencies through periods of expansion, especially during uncertain economic times.
Tolkachev brings more than 20 years of tech communications experience to Bospar. Some of her former clients include HP, Pioneer, Qualcomm, Netgear, QLogic, Conexant, Gainsight and JFrog. In addition, Tolkachev has worked in other industries such as retail/e-commerce, finance, healthcare, biotech, envirotech, education and HR, giving her the perspective and media relationships to build strong vertical programs to support sales teams and marketing efforts.
“My goal is to make an immediate impact on Bospar’s flourishing tech practice by ensuring PR programs are agile and versatile and support clients’ sales and marketing teams and their growth goals,” said Tolkachev. “I feel very fortunate to be part of a team whose success is apparent, as the agency continues to expand through tough economic times. And I admire Bospar’s values and steadfast commitment to human rights and democratic principles and its willingness to stand up for these ideals publicly.”
Tolkachev has a passion for public policy advocacy, stemming from her first-ever PR job working for a U.S. senator. Her entrepreneurial interests grew from owning a consultancy business and a recent position as the head of PR at the global inbound marketing agency SmartBug Media. While at SmartBug she built the PR department from the ground up, working with cross-functional teams and contributing to internal projects that helped the fully remote company scale from a distributed workforce of 35 to nearly 200 employees.
“People are squawking, ‘the sky is falling,’” said Bospar Principal and Co-Founder Curtis Sparrer. “But Jen has been here before. She has the right stuff when clients need to make the most out of their marketing budgets.”
