CHALLENGE

Makes payments in emerging markets easy and allows merchants to safely receive payments in Africa, Asia and Latin America and drive conversion rates to all time highs form one account. DLocal had an IPO in June 2021, but had yet to break into the U.S. market as a leader in cross-border payments. It came to Bospar to help become a household name.

SOLUTION

Bospar worked with the team to publicize a series of customer announcements, including one with Chinese fashion brand, SHEIN. Additionally, the team jumped on breaking news stories and pitched commentary from the CEO on news regarding payments and global finance. PR pitched dLocal’s annual conference, PuntaTech, as a way to continue the media momentum and establish dLocal as a major player in the space.

RESULT

Our media outreach resulted in interviews with Bloomberg News, Crowdfund Insider and Payments Cards and Mobile. PR also secured coverage in Reuters (Echo Wang and David French), Seeking Alpha (Vince Martin), Business Insider (Callum Burroughs), Axios (Dan Primack), Benzinga (Lisa Levin) and Barron’s (Luisa Beltran).
