Veteran journalist previously wrote about tech for Dell and at WSJ, CIO.com and eWEEK
SAN FRANCISCO — April 2, 2026 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts health and tech companies on the map, has hired AI reporter and veteran tech journalist Clint Boulton to be a content creator and advise clients on how to appeal to top-tier media.
Most recently a senior advisor of AI portfolio marketing at Dell, Boulton crafted thought leadership articles for Bloomberg, Business Insider, Forbes, The Register and VentureBeat, helping broaden awareness of Dell’s position in the burgeoning enterprise AI market.
Prior to that, Boulton was a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, CIO.com and eWEEK, covering such topics as cloud computing, SaaS, blockchain, cybersecurity and IT leadership themes.
“Clint understands how to craft a compelling narrative for media and C-suite audiences,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal of Bospar. “As the global business economy increasingly orbits AI, Clint is the right addition to our growing team of expert client content creators at the right time.”
At Dell, Boulton wrote about the intricacies of generative AI models and AI agents, including how organizations must implement governance and guardrails around these tools. Additionally, he explained how these emerging technologies are forever altering the future of work.
Boulton was also a founder reporter of WSJ’s CIO Journal, helping the media giant plant a stake in enterprise technology coverage geared towards CIOs, CTOs and other IT leaders. There he wrote news and features about everything from the evolution of cloud computing and mobile technologies to the Internet of Things and high-profile cybersecurity breaches.
Leveraging the IT leader sources he cultivated while at The Wall Street Journal, Boulton took his tech writing chops to CIO.com, where he wrote features about everything from the way Slack disrupted team collaboration software to the IT modernization effort executed by Caesar’s Entertainment brand.
“I’m excited to join the award-winning Bospar team as AI is transforming businesses worldwide and changing public relations and the future of work before our very eyes,” Boulton said. “I believe that mindshare translates to market share, and I look forward to helping Bospar best position its clients to capture media and market attention at this pivotal moment.”
