SAN FRANCISCO – Aug. 27, 2005 – Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts health and tech companies on the map, is supporting its remote-only workforce with a new program called “Ready, Set, Glow” that helps employees set up a professional, broadcast-worthy workstation.
The program provides a quarterly allowance of $100 (totaling $400 annually) for equipment and tools that enhance on-screen presentation, including ring lights, microphones, webcams, and other upgrades. The initiative reflects Bospar’s commitment to empowering its team to communicate ideas clearly and confidently as it interacts with clients, members of the media, analysts and new business prospects.
Staff members can use the funds to:
- Purchase ring lights to help them look their best
- Microphones for clear audio
- High-quality webcams to ensure every Zoom or Teams meeting looks great
- Other upgrades, including light glasses, noise-cancelling headphones and other related accessories
This program supplements the $250 technology allowance already provided to employees, which includes ergonomic products to improve performance and comfort.
“At Bospar, supporting our all-remote team means more than just providing the right tech; it’s about giving everyone the confidence to shine on screen,” said Jessica Orsini, senior director, human resources at Bospar. “‘Ready, Set, Glow’ is our way of helping team members look and sound their best, whether pitching a client, briefing the media or collaborating with colleagues. From ring lights to high-quality mics, it’s all about making every meeting feel a little brighter and every team member much more confident.”
Upcoming Bospar employee-focused initiatives include:
- Brand-building coaching with access to Bospar’s social media and coaching professionals to help sharpen employees’ messaging and personal branding
- Confidence resources, including quick guides and tips on lighting, camera angles and background framing from the team’s PR professionals
- An internal Slack channel called “bospar-glowschool” to encourage glow-up before-and-after improvements in office setup or on-screen appearance
