CHALLENGE

Symend, a leading customer engagement platform designed to better engage, treat and retain financially at-risk customers, was looking for a PR agency to support their coming out of stealth with a $52M Series B funding round.​

SOLUTION

The PR team implemented an approach to support the announcement by training all key spokespeople for media interviews, drafting a press release, and conducting outreach several weeks in advance to all key local, financial, technology, and business media.​

RESULT
Bospar secured over 70 pieces of coverage for the funding announcement, with over one billion impressions, in top outlets such as VentureBeat (Kyle Wiggers), TechCrunch (Ingrid Lunden), Business Insider (Callum Burroughs), Reuters, Fortune (Lucinda Shen), and Axios (Dan Primack). The team also secured a TV interview for the CEO with CTV News Calgary. In an audit of similar funding announcements of the same size, Bospar outperformed by 5x the average. ​
