SAN FRANCISCO — March 25, 2025— Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing firm that puts tech companies on the map, today announced it has been shortlisted as a finalist for three PRWeek Purpose Awards. The agency was recognized for purpose-driven work with clients Futuri and San Francisco Pride.
“I want to give a shoutout to agencies like Weber Shandwick, Ketchum, Citizen and MSL, who are all prioritizing purpose-driven work,” said Sparrer. “Bospar is proud to be shortlisted for the same number of Purpose awards as the biggest and best in the business. Because we’re a small agency, clients work with the very people who do the award-winning work.”
Bospar’s campaign for Futuri, Launching a Beacon of Hope, is being recognized in the Best Public Awareness category, while its campaign for San Francisco Pride, Defiant, United, Unstoppable: SF Pride 2024,” is being recognized in the Best Diversity, Equity or Inclusion category.
Bospar principal Curtis Sparrer has also been nominated for the prestigious Most Purposeful Pro award. As president of the San Francisco Press Club, Curtis leveraged his PR skills to revitalize the organization. He also highlighted challenges in the B2B tech sector by collaborating with CMO Huddles and Redpoint Marketing on the study “The Hidden Recession,” which earned coverage in Forbes, MarketingProfs, MarketingWeek, and Search Engine Journal.
The sixth PRWeek Purpose Awards recognizes campaigns that use creative ideas to further authentic purpose, create impact and acknowledge the organizations and individuals behind them. The awards focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives and communications. Award winners will be announced at a virtual event on May 21.
