SAN FRANCISCO — March 13, 2026 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” tech PR and marketing firm, celebrated an award-winning evening at the 27th annual PRWeek Awards, held March 12 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
Bospar won Best in Financial Communications for its campaign with fintech platform Smarty, “How Smarty Owned the Tariff Moment.” The campaign prevailed over finalists that included Citi and a major IPO communications campaign, showing how strategic storytelling can help emerging financial technology companies compete with some of the largest global institutions.
Bospar also won Best in Community Relations for its work with SF Pride on the “Queer Joy Is Resistance” campaign, which recognized the agency’s efforts to support a major nonprofit organization working through a complex cultural moment.
The agency’s technology communications work also stood out. Bospar’s generative engine optimization (GEO) campaign for RealSense earned honorable mentions in three categories: Best in Technology, Best in B2B and Best Corporate Branding, alongside campaigns from major technology companies, including Microsoft and Cloudflare.
Bospar’s recognition placed the boutique agency among global firms representing some of the world’s most well-known brands, including Coca-Cola, L’Oréal and Verizon. Many award-winning campaigns came from multinational agencies with thousands of employees. Bospar’s honors spanned multiple clients and industries, from fintech and emerging technology to nonprofit advocacy.
For a firm of its size, Bospar continues to deliver industry-recognized campaigns on a pound-for-pound basis, demonstrating how focused strategy, technology expertise and creative storytelling can compete with agencies many times larger.
“I’m proud that RealSense was repeatedly recognized against much bigger names,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal at Bospar. “And SF Pride has been shortlisted a few times before. This is the first time they won. Meanwhile, Smarty’s financial communications win shows that tactics like newsjacking can be transformative for brands that don’t have Coca-Cola’s or Verizon’s name recognition or budgets.”
