SAN FRANCISCO — March 9, 2026 — Bospar, the “politely pushy” PR and marketing agency that puts tech companies on the map, today announced it has won five 2026 PRNEWS Purpose & Impact Awards, recognizing the agency’s leadership in purpose-driven communications, social impact storytelling and responsible technology innovation.
Bospar earned four awards for its campaign, “Queer Joy is Resistance: How PR Turned a Sponsorship Crisis into Record Results,” created in partnership with the San Francisco Pride organization. The campaign received honors in the following categories:
- DEI in Action: LGBTQIA+ Campaign
- CSR & Social Impact: Fundraising
- CSR & Social Impact: Purpose-Driven PR (Co-winner)
- CSR & Social Impact: Social Justice
Bospar also received the Responsible Innovation — Tech for Good Narrative of the Year award for Audit*E, the agency’s generative engine optimization (GEO) auditing platform that analyzes how organizations appear across AI search and answer engines and provides guidance on improving accuracy, visibility and trust in AI-generated responses.
Presented annually, the PRNEWS Purpose & Impact Awards recognize organizations and campaigns using communications to advance equity, sustainability, community engagement and responsible innovation.
“Bospar stands on the podium with leading associations, global public relations firms and some of the most recognized organizations in the world,” said Curtis Sparrer, principal at Bospar. “Our fellow winners include tech giants, a world-class research university, global holding-company agencies and multinational corporations. That Bospar belongs in both conversations says everything about what our team has built and the results that independent agencies can achieve.”
Other 2026 PRNEWS Purpose & Impact Award winners include Aflac, the American Diabetes Association, MSL, the National Parks Conservation Association, Reputation Partners and Weber Shandwick. View the full list of winners.
This year’s winners represent the very best in cause-based and values-driven PR,” said Kaylee Hultgren, content director at PRNEWS, in the awards announcement. “They demonstrate how strategic communications can inspire action, influence behavior and create lasting impact across industries and communities.”
