Senior Social Media Account Executive


Purpose of Role

The Senior Social Media Account Executive is responsible for supporting campaigns across 5–6 account teams. Launches and manages campaign work and ensures clients’ needs are met. The Senior Social Media Account Executive works closely with Bospar’s content and PR teams. Collaborate closely with our client’s internal digital, web, marketing, and event teams and liaises with third parties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Account Strategy and Management:
    • Support day-to-day direction of client teams
    • Lead or support monthly planning processes (depending on account size)
    • Stay up to date on client-specific updates and industry developments to deliver informed, thoughtful recommendations
    • Ensure timely delivery of client deliverables
    • Manage project deliverables on a timely basis
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, working to build trust and become a go-to source of counsel
    • Actively contribute to all client calls and strategy sessions
    • Anticipate client needs and respond to client requests in a thoughtful, timely manner
  • Social Media Relations:
    • Contribute to the development of proactive, data-driven social media strategies
    • Monitoring and social listening for opportunities and support rapid-response initiatives
    • Draft and deliver compelling captions, multimedia campaigns, demonstrating mastery of customer verticals and competitor social space
    • Build relationships with influencers in the customer’s vertical and sector
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Serve as a strong coach to junior teammates, helping them to strengthen their skills
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive environment
  • Reporting:
    • Lead or support the development of monthly/quarterly reports (depending on account size)
    • Maintain accurate reporting of individual and team members in our time management system

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of social or digital media experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Familiarity with all social platforms, social copy etiquette
  • Experience with paid advertising on social media is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
  • Experience with, or strong interest in, B2B and/or B2C technology
  • Knowledge of social media software and tools, including SproutSocial, Google Analytics, Canva, and more
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
