PR pivots the narrative to help B2B healthcare solution provider stand out
Thoughtful AI is a leader in AI-powered revenue cycle management automation, using agentic AI to improve repetitive tasks such as claims processing, patient verifications and other processes to reduce costs, boost revenue and support back-office healthcare workers.
Challenge
In the fast-changing B2B AI and automation space, the client elected to pivot away from broader use cases to focus on leading healthcare technology. It entered a competitive AI healthcare market and wanted to capitalize on this industry momentum to become a category leader.
However, the B2B company needed to increase its profile to spread the word about its offering and funding round to make that happen. A core challenge was the amount of its planned funding round, which was lower than the amount that would typically attract top-tier reporters.
The company chose Bospar and our team of PR professionals to emphasize and illustrate that it is a game-changing organization driving transformational change in the healthcare area through the power of AI. Due to Bospar’s deep experience in B2B messaging and public relations, Bospar knew that the company’s funding amount as the leading news hook was an immediate barrier. To generate interest, our public relations team offered a strategic initiative to shift the client’s industry perception away from a generalized AI/automation player to a leader in healthcare revenue management and efficiency.
Strategy
The primary objective was securing top-tier media placements by turning a funding announcement into a strategic story – emphasizing the client’s bold mission to fix a core part of the U.S. healthcare system. In the process, we established the client’s unique market position with a strong communications strategy.
We leveraged an extended healthtech PR strategy of embargoed pitching to global outlets to generate interest in the client’s capabilities within a very competitive market and funding space. The team used its media relations acumen to focus on multiple outlets in the healthcare, technology and investor verticals, bringing specialized pitches to each outlet that captured the client’s mission and capabilities, backed by the funding announcement.
Campaign Results
Bospar’s deep experience with B2B PR, strategic public relations plans, media relations and signature “politely pushy” approach yielded strong PR results coverage in such outlets as Business Insider, CBS4 (Jane King reporting), Fox News, The Register (Brandon Vigliarolo reporting) and SiliconANGLE (Mike Wheatley reporting).
The Bospar team also crafted, collaborated with the client on and placed articles in Fast Company, Healthcare IT Today, HIT Consultant, MedCity News, Medical Economics, Physicians Practice and TechCrunch. In the process, the Bospar team improved the client’s share of voice (SOV), with the client ending the quarter ranked No. 1!
The client also reported strong business outcomes:
- The campaign produced 143% month-over-month growth in site traffic.
- The client maintained an 80% retention rate in active user traffic.
- Inbound leads increased substantially after the announcement.
- The wire release secured 5,000+ views, 200+ link clicks, 4,500+ multimedia views and earned an additional 143 online postings with a potential audience of 31.1 million.

“Working with Bospar really up-leveled our PR efforts. From the start, their team impressed us with their deep understanding of our objectives and ability to translate them into impactful strategies. Thanks to their expertise, we achieved the placements and visibility we needed across our funding and product-related announcements.
