Purpose of Role
Join our fast-growing and closely-knit organization as a Vice President/Senior Vice President. You’ll lead and mentor teams, build strong relationships with the media and clients, and skillfully manage internal teams and processes to ensure all client needs are met. You’ll help our strong leadership team drive the continued success of our award-winning company by participating in business development and management decisions. We seek a self-starter with a proven track record.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Monitor industry trends to develop and deliver strategic counsel and advice to clients
  • Design insightful, integrated initiatives and share approach to foster team-wide improvement
  • Lead and motivate account teams and individuals to achieve excellent results for clients
  • Develop crisis management techniques and advise clients on potential courses of action
  • Foster long-term client satisfaction by managing and implementing client service programs
  • Create budgets and manage them profitably; ensure a balance between client service and profitability; and demonstrate added value to the client
  • Protect revenue and foster long-term success by building strong relationships at the highest levels in client organizations
  • Define KPIs and measurement metrics to increase client satisfaction and improve agency performance
  • Develop new business and lead the process with prospective and existing clients, monitoring and developing opportunities to help the agency grow
  • Support the Bospar management team in key decision-making and calculated risk-taking

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English or related field
  • 10 years’ experience in public relations, including extensive agency experience
  • Tech PR experience a must
  • Digitally savvy, with a strategic understanding of both traditional and digital PR
  • Sharp business and PR acumen to quickly determine short- and long-term priorities for self and junior team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious, with a desire to learn, apply new knowledge and improve
  • Incisive, with the ability to solve problems creatively and strategically
  • Self-aware and able to adapt personal style to clients and team
  • Organized, with ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
